Happy New Year everyone! We all hope you were able to have some festivities wherever you are in a safe way.

Over Christmas and New Year, we did put our tools down for a short period of time so that we could reboot and be ready to give it our all in 2021, so this update is going to focus on one thing … the artwork by Graham Humphreys!

We’re not going to show the whole thing just yet, so here are some sneaky peeks!


We were absolutely floored (and still are!) when Graham agreed to join us to work on Sunshine Manor, and after seeing the line-art for the cover, we’re certainly thrilled! We can’t wait to share more with you, but you'll have to wait for a bit before the next look at his cover. Stay safe!

Has it really been a month already?

First off, before we show off some of the cool new stuff we’ve been working on, we wanted to once again say a huge thank you to every single backer for helping us to make the full-time development of Sunshine Manor a reality. We can’t wait for you to play everything we have planned … and we have lots to show you about the game over the next year!

Rather than go into a hugely detailed analysis of the new missions, enemies, and systems within Sunshine Manor, we thought a screenshots would be way more fun!

Above, you can see a brand new section of one of the new Demon Realms we’re currently working on. These little ‘beauties’ are called Snippers, and they work relentlessly for the Demon Vestasia! Be very careful when you approach them, as those rusted scissors of their really hurt!

Another new Demon can be seen above: the ‘Sploder. As its name suggests, you should not get too close… or else they go BOOM!

And then we have the Needlers. They’re blind demons who work for Vestasia making… well, needles. These are one of our favourite demons in the game. When they’re angry, they’re horrendous!

Thanks to your support for Sunshine Manor, we’ve also added more detailed cut-scenes for key moments in the game - if you’ve played the Prologue this might seem a bit familiar!

We hope you’ve enjoyed our first development blog update for Sunshine Manor. We’ll be in touch again in 2021!

The Kickstarter Is Now Over!

What a ride it has been! After a month-long Kickstarter (and months of work before that!) the campaign for Sunshine Manor is now over! We can finally stop refreshing our browsers every 30 seconds!

We want to thank each and every one of you for your support, because without you, we wouldn’t have a Kickstarter that has not only reached its main funding goal, but also several Stretch Goals!

Now, the exciting part is that we have been working with the wonderful team at Backerkit to create a store for those who might have missed the party. The best part is that this store accepts Paypal too! Even better is that the funds pledged via Backerkit also go towards unlocking Stretch Goals as well! What Stretch Goals you ask? These Stretch Goals!

On that note, for those of you that have asked how your friends who missed out on the campaign can show their support, now’s the time to link them to our Backerkit page so that we can hopefully reach some extra Stretch Goals!

We also wanted to thank the crew at our publisher Hound Picked Games, without whom we couldn’t have done this Kickstarter campaign. Their tireless work and fantastic experience meant that we could really focus on making the game even better, as well as to port Camp Sunshine and Sunshine Manor to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox!

Last but certainly not least, Premium Edition Games, since it’s thanks to them that backers will be able to get a physical edition for the Sunshine Anthology on Nintendo Switch, along with some extra special goodies!

Who's ready for some music? It seems all of you are, since you've managed to unlock another Stretch Goal that will add 2 extra songs to the Sunshine Manor soundtrack!

And since music is a big part of the experience, why not spice things up a bit?

If you help us reach the next Stretch Goal, then the entire soundtrack for Sunshine Manor will get an 8-bit chiptune remix! That would means you'd get to play the game with a synthwave soundtrack or a chiptune soundtrack... how cool is that?

It's The Final 24 Hours!

It's been a great journey, and now the final 24 hours for Sunshine Manor are in full swing!  You've not only helped us reach the main funding goal for the project, you've also unlocked Stretch Goals that added two extra songs to the soundtrack, a playable Gnarlie, an extra costume and power for Ada, a free limited edition enamel pin of Ada for all backers pledging at the "It's Alive! It's Alive!" and higher reward tiers, and are currently working towards unlocking two more songs for the synthwave soundtrack for Sunshine Manor!

Don't forget that you can increase your pledge by £45 without changing your reward tier if you want to add an additional physical copy of the Premium Edition Sunshine Anthology with the Kickstarter exclusive extras, or increase your pledge by by £89 without changing your reward tier to add an extra physical copy of the Kickstarter exclusive Sunshine Edition!
